April Money Faith & Finance Tip

Positioning For Greater

Luke 16-13-15

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, you are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God's sight."

Action: It’s time to create a spending plan that is truly aligned with your core values (beliefs about money's purpose) and financial priorities.

You can use a digital or printed budgeting worksheet or download a budgeting app. Take some time to list your monthly expenses. After subtracting your expenses from your income, do you have money left over? If yes, what are you going to do with it? If no, what are some changes you can make to your spending habits to have more left over?

Prayer Focus: Spend time today praying about God’s vision for your finances and the discipline to stay focused.
